The Vallejo Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that involved a suspect vehicle they say was used in more than one recent armed robbery.
A 46-year-old Stockton man asleep in his bed Friday morning awoke to an intruder holding a knife, police say.
Three suspects had broken into the victim s home in the 100 block of Mosswood Avenue at around 4:30 a.m., Stockton police reported. (The victim) was woken by the suspect, who brandished a knife and told him to stay where he was, while two additional suspects ransacked his residence, police said.
The suspects described as a 36-year-old woman and two men aged 59 and 20 years old stole miscellaneous items and then fled the residence on foot, police said.
Stockton police also responded to another robbery later Friday morning and reported one incident of resisting arrest. A 29-year-old woman was also reportedly pistol whipped with a handgun and robbed early Saturday morning in the 300 block of Rose Street in central Stockton.
