BIDA, BBF sign MoU to attract more FDI

Authority (BIDA) and the Better Bangladesh Foundation (BBF) today signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for attracting more Foreign Direct
Investment (FDI).

Bangladesh and BBF Global Chairman Professor Mashud A Khan inked the MoU on
behalf of their respective sides.
As per the first initiative of the partnership, a virtual conference,
titled “Bangladesh-Italy Investment” will be organised for encouraging
investment and accelerating the foreign investment and trade relationship.

The third batch of Rohingyas around 3,000 is set to reach Bhasan Char today from the refugee camp in Cox s Bazar s Ukhia.
The Rohingyas left the camp around noon in 20 buses amid tight security and reached Chattogram later in the day, said Armed Police Battalion (APBn) Additional General Inspector Mosharaf Hossain.
They were kept under the Navy s supervision at Chattogram s Patenga and would be taken to the island, around 40 kilometres off Noakhali, today, the official added.
