Mortal Kombat trilogy according to writer Greg Russo, and he shared how the team approached their first entry with Collider. It wouldn’t be too smart to focus on the future before handling this big film.
Mortal Kombat fans have been waiting a long time for this movie, so it makes sense that they wanted to get the beginning right. The tournament structure foundation is set and the increasing action will be fun to watch if they get the chance to continue their story. Russo and the creative team have little to fear though. Fans have been loving the movie all over social media and the positive impressions have been pouring in. Mortal Kombat marks yet another early dub for HBO Max and their burgeoning streaming platform. Two new add-on packs are coming to Mortal Kombat X that will allow players to purchase “easy” fatalities for in-game use.
The packs will offer players a limited number of fatalities, with 5 going for $0.99 USD and 30 for $4.99 USD. Other add-ons that are currently available are as follows:
Kombat Pack ($29.99 USD) – offers you early access to 4 playable characters (including Jason Vorhees and Predator), plus skins.
Goro ($4.99 USD) – gives you Goro as a playable character.
Blue Steel Sub-Zero ($1.99 USD) – lets you play as Blue Steel Sub Zero.
Unlock all Krypt items ($19.99 USD) – lets you unlock everything in the Krypt in one fell swoop.
