EUGENE When Jerome Weaks took over as coach at Morrow High School in February 2016, he knew he needed a lot of help.
The Mustangs had won just 14 games over the prior decade. Weaks performed a massive program turnaround as offensive coordinator at Avondale High, another Atlanta area program that hadn’t had a winning season or made the playoffs in 24 years until he helped them get there.
