(Google Maps) BUCKS COUNTY, PA A former public official in Bucks County who had been missing for a week was found dead Thursday at Washington Crossing Park, police said. David Nay, a 55-year-old Morrisville Borough resident and former councilman, was last seen leaving his home on April 29. Nay was found dead at the park after a two-day search, authorities said. Solebury Township Police Department said they received a tip Wednesday that the white truck belonging to Nay was located at Washington Crossing Park on River Road.

Bucks lawmakers announce $1 5M in redevelopment funding for Morrisville Borough

MORRISVILLE BOROUGH State Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10) and State Representative Perry Warren (D-31) have announced $1.5 million in state grant funding for improvements in Morrisville Borough. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Bucks will receive $1 million for its Manor Park Landfill project and Morrisville Borough will receive $500,000 for a project at Patriots Park at Historic Summerseat. The Manor Park Landfill project involves remediating and redeveloping a 12.96-acre vacant Brownfield site for new construction of a 70,000 square foot site for commercial use. Once remediation is complete, the redevelopment will include a fully equipped pad site, parking lots, landscaping and a retention basin.

(Google Maps) BUCKS COUNTY, PA Several big-ticket projects in Bucks County municipalities have been awarded state grant funding from Pennsylvania. The $7.5 million in funding comes from the state s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), which supports economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects in the commonwealth. Doylestown Hospital will receive $1 million for a new Women s Diagnostic Center, which will specialize in breast imaging and other medical imaging services.
