Lauren Corduck was many things in life. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend; an advocate, gardener, and localister ; She was smart and funny - a sharer if you will. Perhaps even an over sharer, according to her husband Robb.
And because of her willingness, even eagerness, to share her cancer journey with friends and strangers alike, she saved countless lives and will undoubtedly continue to save countless more.
Oneinforty
The Acton mom founded the nonprofit Oneinforty to raise awareness about the genetic risks associated with certain cancers. Corduck died of late-stage ovarian cancer on Dec. 24, just four years after her initial diagnosis.
