Members in bronx after last evening in the trooper d department. We did stop the traffic before the incident was supposed to happen just in case it went wrong but thank god it didnt go wrong. It was a highrisk stop. And just thank god that he went willingly, he didnt put up a fight. Reporter eyewitnesses gathered some details. He was a former cop where he had another family and other children that are now adults. He left the police force after being accused of assaulting a cabbie while working offduty at a yard in 2002. His Attorney Says he was charged with filing a fake police report. In 2007, those charges were dropped and his pension was restored. His latest job was working as a motorman for the mta since 2013. As for the latest case, no word on what sparked yesterdays attack and kidnapping of his car was tracked down on the garden state parkway where the suspect gave up peacefully. Three boy scouts to show them a cave hes been before. When he entered the gave a black bear grabbed his foot and dragged him into the cave. He curled into fetal. We have a helicopter above them. All of us are going to go for those kids. Reporter three scouts called 911 and started a fire to smoke the bear out of the cave and signal their location to emergency responders. They are amazing kids. Sometimes we dont give our kids enough credit. Has amusing. Reporter ann shannon came to visit. Her son was in the same troop but not on this excursion. The couple lives in the morris park section of the bronx. The woman says they buried their infant son outside of a motel in brewster, Putnam County. Eyewitness News Reporter lucy this story. Lucy . Police tell us the savage killing happened here in their apartment on bogart avenue in the bronx. Investigators tell me it happened back on december 10. The baby was crying, as 2month olds will do.
