OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT
AKHMED ASFAR, 35, of Hilton Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving on Queens Road, Banbury on January 11. He had 78mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £180, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 40 months.
GRAHAM STEWART, 52, of School View, Banbury, admitted drug-driving on Oxford Road, Banbury on November 20. He had 338mcg of benzoylecgonine in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Oxford Magistrates Court OXFORD MAGISTRATES COURT NICHOLAS MASON, 57, of Gessey Close, Long Hanborough, was convicted of speeding on the A40 on February 2. He was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85. His driving licence has als been endorsed with four penalty points. LIAM ALDERSON, 35, of Ivy Lane, Oxford, was convicted of failing to attend custody after being released on bail on May 16 and breaching a restraining order between April 12 and April 21 at Stowford Road, Oxford by contacting the victim directly and indirectly by social media. He was made subject to a community order and must attend rehabilitation appointments for 15 days. He must also pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £450.
