Four U.S. B-52 Bombers Have Just Landed In Spain For A Bomber Task Force Deployment
B-52H Stratofortress bombers have arrived at Moron Air Base, Spain, for a European deployment.
Four U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress bombers of the 2nd Bomb Wing from Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, arrived at Moron Air Base, in southern Spain, approximately 35 miles southeast of the city of Seville, on May 17, 2021.
The first B-52, MACE 21, serial 61-0012, landed in Spain around 08.10 Local Time. MACE 22, 61-0015, followed at 14.30LT. The last two aircraft, MACE 23 and 24, landed shortly after 20.30LT.

Master Sergeant Shawna Johnson
PRINCE SULTAN AIR BASE, Saudi Arabia Shawna Johnson was recently promoted to Master Sergeant in the U.S. Airforce.
Johnson is from Wells and graduated from Escanaba High School in May 2003. She entered the U.S. Air Force in August of 2003, and after the completion of Basic Military Training, attended Airfield Management Technical Training Course at Keesler, Air Force Base, Miss.
During her career she has held positions as training manager, non-commissioned officer in charge, section chief, flight chief and airfield manager managing day to day operations at multiple airfields worldwide.
Johnson was recently recognized for her promotion to the top enlisted tier. Historically, less than 10 percent of the enlisted force make it to the senior non-commissioned officer echelon.
