For centuries, Morocco’s coastline has been one of the country’s key geographic features. A gateway to the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, it has long been a backbone of the country’s development and remains a source of livelihoods for thousands of households. At the same time, the coastline represents the kingdom’s thriving economic hub, concentrating the highest density of the country’s population and most economic activities.
