The Prospect Series kicked-off on Sunday, May 26 at Flamboro Downs for sophomore trotting fillies, with Sandoon scoring in front-end fashion in the lone $8,000 division.
Freshman colts and geldings took the track on Thursday (Oct. 26) evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park to compete for a $17,000 purse in each of five divisions of the Harvest Series. Flag Party posted the fastest time of the series action with a 1:53.1 victory.
Grand River Raceway will roll out the red carpet for the province’s top Prospect Series competitors this evening, with eight $15,000 finals highlighting the 6:30 p.m. program.
The $11,000 Preferred 2 Pace and $11,000 Preferred 2 Trot headlined as the top classes at Grand River Raceway on Monday (Aug. 28) and each race featured a new track record set by their respective winners: Desperate Man and Dealin With Dewey.
