“We see this as a way to continue the growth and prosperity Corsica has experienced over the last 25 years,” said Dave Lambert, development director for Dakota Heartland Development Association.
“We set that goal before we saw the effects of inflation on food and gas and other things hitting people hard in the pocket book. But we also know that as hard as that affects us, it affects the people we help much worse,” Vice President Ken Schlimgen said.
Five awards were received by local businesses and community members for their efforts in bettering the Mitchell Community, including The Depot and Friends of Firesteel.
