Over 50,000 refunds for hotel quarantine packages have been processed to date while further requests are being facilitated,
Qatar Airways (QA) highlighted in a post on its Twitter page yesterday.
“We appreciate the patience of our customers as it can take up to 60 days to process refunds,” the airline added.
Referring to the increase in demand for hotel quarantine packages following a recent decision prohibiting home quarantine for travelers, not on the green list, QA said, “Our teams are working round the clock to ensure the continued safety of Qatar and its residents.”
So far, Discover Qatar has helped over 310,000 people to complete their quarantine in 65 hotels in Qatar and provided as many as 5 million meals.
