The enhancements include an applied arts shop, second gymnasium, fitness room and playground equipment. “We’re incredibly grateful for the donations we’ve received,” Kevin Trew, North East School Division trustee representing Subdivision 2 said. “We have planned for some enhancements that looked achievable and attainable. We have kept that goal. The second gymnasium will double as a performing arts space with seating. We haven’t made a commitment for brand new equipment in the fitness facility, but that’s something we might look at in the future.”
