After a phenomenal inaugural season of business and with loads of new features, one of Maine's hottest new attractions is set to open this coming weekend!
The park will open for the season at 11 a.m. on Saturday with new features for golfers this year and plans to complete a second 18-hole mini-golf course for next year's season.
West Fraser (formerly Spray Lake Sawmills) plans to clearcut 900 hectares, (~833 soccer fields) near West Bragg Creek and another 450 ha. in the Moose Mountain Trail Network.
A plan to log 450 hectares of old-growth forest near Bragg Creek, Alta., would significantly damage kilometres of popular trails, say groups representing recreational users.
“There are over 15,000 individuals that have put their name on a petition demanding to stop the West Bragg and Moose Mountain harvest," said Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Outdoor Recreation member.
