Mollusks and muscle cars return to O.C.
In Ocean Cityâs own take on Groundhog Day, their crustacean mascot will seek his shadow on Martin Z. Mollusk Day (Saturday, May 8) to see if summer will come a week early. The fun begins at 11 a.m. on the beach at Ninth Street. This annual tradition includes a coloring contest for kids â entry forms and coloring pages will be distributed at the Primary School and can be picked up at the City Hall Welcome Center (861 Asbury Ave.), the Ocean City Free Public Library (1735 Simpson Ave.) and the Ocean City Music Pier (Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace) on weekends.

Churches across the state are hosting a diverse range of religious services for Easter Sunday, spanning from indoor to outdoor to virtual as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
One year after houses of worship in New Jersey shifted to virtual services, churches in the state of New Jersey are now allowed to host in-person services at 50% capacity. All those attending a service must continue to wear masks and practice social distancing while inside.
We are less than a week away from the official start of the spring season and less than three weeks until Easter 2021. While COVID-19 is still looming, this Easter is looking a whole lot better than last year.
Ocean City is planning several traditional Easter events this year for families to enjoy, according to Patch.com. All events will have safety in mind with guidelines including the wearing of face masks and social distancing procedures.
The Easter fun starts in Ocean City with the Great Egg Hunt on March 27th from 1 to 4 PM for children up to 7 years old. The Easter Egg Hunt will now take place on the boardwalk instead of on the beach. Participating merchants will invite children to their stores to collect eggs. Flyers will let children know what stores are involved.
