(Moorhead, MN) A high speed chase through the streets of Moorhead last night ends in a crash with another car. This began when officers approached a motorist in a car in a parking lot off 32nd Ave South, who was said to be driving recklessly. She sped off and police followed for a short time, but broke off the chase. Moorhead Police received information from the public of a vehicle driving recklessly entering Moorhead on I-94 from Fargo. Officers located the vehicle in a parking lot in the 1000 block of 32nd Avenue South. As an officer approached the vehicle, the driver drove out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed. A Clay County Deputy and Moorhead Officer pursued the vehicle northbound on 9th Street South for about two blocks until the chase was called off before 30th Avenue due to the dangerous driving behavior and increased vehicle traffic.
