But even better this year, the golden gate, which is still nice and bright to you might be thinking, oh, weve got another sunny day ahead of us. Well, its going to be a little cloudier for this one. We have the storm system really just passing to our north. Its kind of get nudged upward. So theres going to be rainfall for the very Northern Tier of the state. According to the Public Policy institute the store burglaries are at the highest level in california since 2008. Rose 16 across the state. It is an especially frustrating problem in Alameda County where break ins spiked 65 between 2019 and 2022. And, while oakland missed out on money from the state, Alameda County will be receiving money. The help can not come soon enough. We have been here a few times over the last few months. Reporter you can see the owner installed a gate, security cameras, all of it because of the constant break ins. Now, she is hopeful that this new approach can help solve this problem. It always smells good here at Good Neighbors store in oakland but the surge in retail theft smells bad. Business has been going along as usual. You look outside not so cloudy this morning in san jose. The further north you get, though the greyer skies become so south bay, you are bright spot this morning. We are starting to see a little bit of rainfall across the very northern coast of the state, but nothing here locally and those showers that youre seeing there, theyre going to kind of pass to our north. So were not going to pick up a lot of rain, but we are going to see a few clouds today and tomorrow. But again, sets to the spooky feel this time of year. 40s 50s for current temperatures right around the same as yesterday. Look at santa rosa. Youre sitting at 40 degrees. Were almost tapping into some 30s. Gives you a little bit of a chill for your Morning Hours later on today. We are going to see a bit of a cooler feel with a lot more cloud cover, especially for the latter half of the day.
