With dawn breaking on the Moon, ISRO is now gearing up to try to reestablish communication with its lunar mission Chandrayaan-3's solar-powered lander Vikram and rover Pragyan, to revive them so that they can continue with scientific experiments.
The Instrument of Lunar Seismic Activity (ILSA) payload on the Chandrayaan-3 lander recorded a natural event that occurred on the Moon's surface on August 26, the source of which is still under investigation, the space agency said.
Chandrayaan-3 landing: While the anxiety and suspense are natural, the celebration is expected to be all the sweeter, considering the fate of Chandrayaan-2.
