The 300-mile trek took Reader about six days to complete. LAS CRUCES – The second person to complete running Monumental Loop in Doña Ana County finished Friday morning. Monumental Loop is a 316-mile bikepacking route that is roughly in the shape of a figure eight. It includes areas within the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks Monument such as the Doña Ana Mountains, Sierra de las Uvas and the Potrillos Mountains. It also crosses into Texas near the Franklin Mountains.
