Kevin Lloyd Guthrie passed away surrounded by his loved ones on June 2, 2023, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. Prior to his final departure in the hospital, Kevin was doing what he devoted his life to, providing amazing life-long memories for his family that he cherished. Kevin was born on Jan. 19, 1962, to Robert (Butch) and Arlene Guthrie in Minot, North Dakota. Kevin married JoCarol (Lacher) Guthrie on Nov. 19, 1982. During their 40-year marriage, Kevin and JoCarol had two children, Robert Lloyd Guthrie and Kayla Jo (Guthrie) Finley; and three grandchildren Landon Ray and Aubrianna Jo Finley, and Evelyn Rose Skoog. Kevin was known and loved by many. He was a selfless man who lived to help others. He made the world a better place with each person he encountered.
