The Providence Journal is not naming the woman because she is the alleged victim of a sexual assault.
But state prosecutors argue that the men should remain behind bars, that videos show them taking advantage of a woman unresponsive and unable to care for herself.
“You think they don’t know this? … How can they not know this?” Assistant Attorney General Mark Trovato said in slowing down the images clip by clip while the defendants and their families observed.
“When she needed to be protected, they took advantage of her,” Trovato continued in urging that the men be held as a danger to the community.

No identifying details were released about the minor. All were arrested Friday and charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, simple assault, video voyeurism and conspiracy.
Wilson, Scuncio and Sektor were arraigned by a justice of the peace and held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston, ahead of a re-arraignment in court on Monday. The minor was held at the Rhode Island Training School ahead of a virtual court appearance Monday.

If convicted, the penalty for first-degree sexual assault is a minimum of 10 years in prison, up to a life sentence. Second-degree sexual assault carries a sentence of three to 15 years in prison, while video voyeurism carries up to three years in prison and a fine of $5,000.
