School divisions in and around Regina announced Tuesday morning that school buses would not be running, as most of the southern half of the province was under an extreme cold warning.

A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Dr. George Ferguson School in Regina’s east end.
Regina Public Schools said Monday the school will stay open, but those students who were close contacts of the individual who tested positive are to begin learning remotely.
Later Monday, the school division said there were three cases of COVID identified at Kitchener Community School.
That school also will remain open, with some students moving to online learning.
Students at Regina’s schools are in their second full week back in class after more than a month of online instruction.
