doesn t see a lot of safe places he could go at this point. national investigative corner, michael isikoff. great talking with you. good news and bad news on the economy that came out today. the month of march saw a net gain of 216,000 nonfarm jobs, good number. but 13.5 million folks across the country still don t have a job. more than 6 million have been out of work for more than 27 weeks. another major indicator is a labor force participation rate, that s holding right now at 64.2%, with 921,000 people just saying, i m going to leave the workforce, that s it. completely giving up on their job search. to explain it all, msnbc financial analyst, vera gibbonss. could we be in a good situation but not know it? i think you might not be feeling if you ve been out of work for six months or longer, that s for sure, but it is a
