THE DENTAL Shetland practice is closing permanently following the sudden death of Dr David Lubbe on New Year’s Day, his family has announced. Meanwhile, a memorial service to celebrate Dr Lubbe’s life will be held at the Lerwick Baptist Church on Saturday 28 January at 1pm.
TRIBUTES are being paid after Lerwick dentist David Lubbe died suddenly on New Year’s Day aged 73. Dr Lubbe, originally from Namibia, was a dentist in Shetland for almost 15 years. The DentalShetland practice on Lerwick’s North Road will stay closed until a locum can be.
