The bald eagle sculpture at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge was damaged last week due to high winds.
The 1,300-lb. structure with a 22-foot wingspan has been perched at a viewing area overlooking the New York State Thruway for five years.
A windstorm last Monday resulted in a bent wing. This is the first time since its 2016 installation that it is in need of rehabilitation.
