Beverly Hills artist points camera at nature
Diane K. Bert
Beverly Hills resident Charles “Chuck” Green is a talented photographer who enjoys sharing his knowledge, talents, and works. Many in the community benefit. After retiring from his 30-year career in the Coast Guard in 1996, Green began studying photography.
“I studied with Monte Nagler. He is an award-winning local writer, lecturer and teacher of photography who studied with Ansel Adams,” Green said. “He is a magnificent photographer. He kindled a fire within me;”
Nature photography is the favorite topic for Green. National parks including Yellowstone and Yosemite, the 150 waterfalls of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, southeast Alaska, Florida, Wyoming, Arizona and sites where animals and birds may be found attract him and his cameras.
