The Montana Quality Education Coalition filed a lawsuit against Gallatin County on Wednesday for its refusal to levy all 95 mills of the state’s school equalization property tax.
The petition from the Montana Quality Education Coalition follows a similar lawsuit from Gianforte s administration to mandate that counties levy the full 95 mills for school equalization taxes.
