The largest free admission summer event in the state of Montana returns to Butte this summer. The Montana Folk Festival is set for July 14-16, in Uptown Butte.
The free, three-day music event will feature more than a dozen other performers on six stages, as it makes its return after being canceled the past two years.

Volunteers and paid crews will spend the next few days hammering, drilling and carrying heavy objects to set up the six staging areas for the free, three-day music festival in Uptown Butte.
