The hearing was one of seven initial hearings scheduled for this September as the Montana Districting and Apportionment Commission enters the third phase of the redistricting process.
The Montana Districting and Apportionment Commission has started the process of drawing lines for 100 House and 50 Senate districts for the state Legislature.
The nine maps were selected from more than 200 submitted by the public or nominated by members of the Montana Districting and Apportionment Commission.
