The truth is they are hitting some new highs. A lot of folks i talk still believe financials will be great in 2013. Some of them are really doing well. Only one index is in the negative, that would be the nasdaq. Apple not managing to find ground again today being pulled down. We thought maybe it had reversed that downward trend yesterday. Blan the candidates focused their issues on the middle east and last night we had three voters that listened in on the debate. An obama supporter, a romney voter and an undecided voter. Heres what they had to say. I was more interested in seeing where some concrete plans where they wanted to go in the future and i didnt see a clear difference between the two. I was a little disappointed with obama. I felt that he won the attack on romney as opposed to what are you going to do. I think mitt romneys choice to not necessarily go further in the discussion in libya until more information was provided was very president ial and show add lot of leadership that wasnt out there before. Hes very decisive. I think thats very important. As the commander in chief i think he showed his leadership and strong finish his decision. All right. And this day, programming note for you. Im going for bathe myself in 80 degrees today. You could do that. Our temperature a good five to eight degrees warmer than yesterday. Yesterday turned into a beautiful day. Next couple of days, well keep the warm trend around here. I will take advantage of both days. Turning the corner next week. Things are going to change big time. Lets get to the maps. Nice start to your day. A few more clouds in the forecast than yesterday. Not going to be a perfectly sunny day. We have rain pushing up into the great lakes and into western pennsylvania and ohio. Some of that cloud cover will continue to spill into the area. It will be a partly sunny day in and out of the clouds here from time to time. But very warm. We are into the mild air now and as mentioned, our temperatures should be up near 08 later this afternoon. Currently, it is 56 in washington. The temperature holding out in the 60s in places like detroit and pittsburgh. Forecast highs will go 79 here in washington. We may even be 80 here
But you can see out to the west some nice warm air. 60 in detroit. 61 in pittsburgh so that warmer air will be moving in here. Winds have shifted out of the south and west and with a bit of a breeze out of the south and west it is going to be on the mild side. A few cloud to start your day and weve got a frontal system off to our north bringing some rain showers to pennsylvania, upstate new york and some of those clouds will be moving through the area from time to time during the course of the day. You can see its not thick cloud cover but enough that well be in and out of the clouds here for your tuesday. So more in the way of cloudiness than yesterday but also warmer temperatures. Expect highs in the upper 70s to about 80 degrees with the 79 in washington. 80 in fredericksburg and a great looking afternoon. Get out and enjoy your tuesday.
