WOODSFIELD The Blue Racer Midstream Berne Plant is hoping to find funding opportunities for an estimated $750,000 project that would enable its Lewisville plant to connect to the county’s water source.
Larry Couch, safety and emergency response coordinator for Blue Racer Midstream, met with county Commissioners Mick Schumacher, Diane Burkhart and Bill Bolon on Monday to discuss options for the plant to connect to Monroe Water Systems, which provides the water service in the area. Couch said the plant currently runs on its own private wells, but company officials would like to connect to the county’s water system.
