ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Residents at the South Bend Community Re-Entry Center (SBCRC) has partnered with Granger Community Church and their Season of Giving celebration and Angel Tree gift giving program.
The men at the SBCRC made a financial commitment to donate a portion of their personal earnings to purchase gifts for children in need.
Volunteers from the church along with the men from the SBCRC wrapped, boxed and loaded a bus filled with toys that will be delivered to the Monroe Circle Community Center.
Monroe Circle Community Center to host annual Christmas Store By: Lari onna Green
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Monroe Circle Community Center – known as MC3 – is hosting a Christmas Store on December 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This annual event is thrown in hopes of giving local families the opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for their children with pride and dignity.
Community members who are preregistered will receive a designated time slot. Those who are not preregistered are invited to wait in a stand-by line for a first-come, first-served basis.
Shoppers who are waiting in line will have the opportunity to enjoy a warm snack, fellowship and music.
