PNG troops raise flag on Solomons island
An attempt yesterday by Papua New Guinea forces to annex an island in the Solomon Islands group has provoked a tense stand-off along the sea border between the two countries.

The move, the most serious in a spate of recent border violations by the PNG Defence Force, came after PNG troops crossed into the Solomons and planted a PNG flag on the island of Oema, about two kilometres inside the border. They later withdrew after being confronted by Solomon Islands police.

Morgan Freeman sighting causes stir in Gulf Shores

An appearance by Morgan Freeman has caused a stir in Gulf Shores, after the daughter of a restaurant owner posted photos of herself with the popular actor.
Lora Pak posted photos Tuesday of Freeman after he had dinner at Mikado , who had dinner at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse. “Getting silly with our special guest,” she wrote.
Several commenters said Freeman has a house in the area, though not all agreed it was on Ono Island, an enclave known for celebrity owners. “I knew I seen that man in public,” said one commenter, “I thought I was tripping.”

The last year has been a busy one for Terry Norton.
A real estate agent for the past 13 in Randolph County, Norton sells properties around Lake Wedowee, one of the top ten marketplaces for lake property in Alabama.
And inventory is hot right now, due to the market effects of COVID-19.
“It was a great year for us,” Norton said. “We’ve had buyers mostly from Atlanta, but we’ve seen them from all over the U.S.. This week, we’re showing to people from Nashville and Florida.”
