(File photo) MANILA - The national government is increasing the number of contracted hotels to be used as isolation sites after the utilization rate of Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMFs) reached almost 78 percent, a health official said Thursday. Health Undersecretary and treatment czar Leopoldo Vega said there is an increase in the number of requests for isolation or quarantine facilities as coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases continue to rise in the past weeks.
