TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Second Harvest of the Big Bend is getting ready for one of their biggest food distributions of the year.
On Saturday, Dec. 19, Governors Square Mall in Tallahassee will host Second Harvest s first holiday food distribution. We re really excited to be able to supply families this time with 60 pounds of food for each family and we re prepared to serve over 1,000 families, said Monique Van Pelt, President, and CEO of Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â MacKenzie Scott, the former wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, says she has given away $4.1 billion in the past four months to hundreds of organizations as part of a giving pledge she announced last year, including Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
