On behalf of Dementia Friendly Bridport, I would like to give our heartfelt thanks to Monica Teague and her husband for yet again fundraising for our cause with their wonderful Christmas display in their front garden. It had everything, from beautiful lights, Christmas themed characters, and even a snow machine! Added to which they raised over £280! I know Monica works tirelessly on behalf of others and we are so very grateful for her support. In a year which has been so challenging, Monica continued to bring Christmas cheer to all who came to enjoy the display. Our thanks also goes to all those who donated.
The display in Bradpole will remain in place until Wednesday, January 6. Rob and Monica Teague plastered their house at 2 White Close, Bradpole, with festive decorations to raise funds for Dementia Friendly Bridport. Now, they have decided to leave the lights display up so people can continue to enjoy it. Donations can be made in the box provided. Those who donate are asked to include their name and phone number in the envelope so that they can be entered into a draw to win a mystery prize. The lights will be switched on every evening from 4pm until January 6.
