Public Libraries to Host Financial Literacy Conversation With ‘The Color of Money’ Columnist Michelle Singletary
In celebration of National Financial Literacy Month, Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will be hosting a virtual conversation, “Five Steps to Thrive During a Financial Crisis and Beyond,” with Washington Post’s Michelle Singletary on Saturday, Apr. 24.
Singletary, a University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University alumna, writes the award-winning nationally syndicated personal finance column “The Color of Money.” Singletary is a published author of three personal finance books with her latest work, “What to Do with Your Money When Crisis Hits: A Survival Guide,” coming out in May.
