both sides, massive taxpayer issues about staffing, security on a national holiday as well as a state holiday. so, that would indicate to me that on monday, july 4th, they re not going to be having court as well for the same reasons and if the defense is going to conclude wednesday or thursday, and this is based on yesterday s estimate, and now thursday or friday, with this full day delay, that means they re going to be one full day of state rebuttal they re going to call some of their own witnesses in to rebut sof of the defense s case and then both sides, the lead prosecutor, as well as several of the defense attorneys will all have a part in the closing statements. and so, that s going to probably take another full or day and a half, maybe. and then you ve got jury instructions and then you begin deliberations that could have, prior to this, surprising recess for the day, that could have theoretically happened sometime on saturday.
