Mom Season 8, Episode 18 is airing Thursday on CBS. As well as bringing the first season of the show without Anna Faris to an end, the episode will also be the last-ever installment of the show, having been canceled back in February 2021.

Mom is coming to an end, with Season 8 of the show set to be the final run for the CBS sitcom. Though episodes will continue until early May, the
Mom cast has taken the opportunity of the cancellation being announced to start saying goodbye to the show.
Leading the tributes was Oscar-winning actor Allison Janney, who won two Emmys for her role as recovering addict Bonnie. Reacting to the news of the show ending on Instagram, she wrote a post that thanked the cast and crew for their eight years working on the show.
