The University of Kentucky Nu Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society hosted its annual awards night on Tuesday, April 11 in the W. T. Young Athletic Auditorium. The annual event was established in 2022 to honor several groups of leaders across campus, including the recently named recipients of the Great Teacher Award (in conjunction with the Alumni Association), the Maurice A. Clay Award for outstanding graduating students, the Jerry Claiborne scholarship recipients and to install the new student leadership.
A total of 24 new members were welcomed into the University of Kentucky’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi recently during the 2022 induction ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022.

Just over one year later, Joseph Chacon died in foster care, one of more than a dozen children to die in the last five years while in the custody of LA’s Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
