The Rotary Club of Mold has been holding Zoom meetings for some months. Its guest speaker on January 11 was Rotarian Keith Evans, who spoke of his early days in his home town of Port Talbot. A club spokesman said: The town owes its existence to industrial developments promoted by the local landowning Talbot family, whose development of the Port and steelworks attracted a large population to the area. Port Talbot is more than an ordinary steel town - it is surrounded by beautiful country side with historic buildings at Margam Abbey, the famous Afan Trail for mountain bikers and more recently a painting by Banksy.
