Ana Soklič s entry Amen has been selected for Slovenia during EMA 2021
In the early hours of Sunday morning in Australia - Slovenia hosted their annual national final Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) where Ana Soklič debuted her 2021 entry Amen
. Soklič s performance took a very small chunk of runtime but was certainly the highlight of the night.
The contest marked an important anniversary for Slovenia - the 60th anniversary since their first appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest (including appearances as part of Yugoslavia). The night was hosted by Nejc Šmit and Lea Sirk (2018 Slovenian Eurovision entrant). The bulk of the show consisted of a walk down memory lane - celebrating previous Eurovision attempts and chatting to the artists that performed those entries.
