South Korean envoy visits Rohingya camp in Cox s Bazar Diplomatic Correspondent 15th February, 2021 05:35:27 South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-keun visited Rohingya camp in Cox s Bazar on Monday (Feb 15). After being briefed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and World Food Programme (WFP) representatives, Ambassador Lee look around the camp and engaged with Rohingyas and local host community. Earlier on Sunday, the Korean envoy also visited Moheshkhali Island and observed the situation of Digital Island Moheshkhali Project which was implemented with the support of Korea Telecom (KT) and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) from February 2016 to March 2020. The Digital Island Moheshkhali is one of the ICT related projects supported by the Republic of Korea to realize the vision of Digital Bangladesh.
