The crime branch sleuths raided the premises and found total 248 phones which had been stolen or robbed from across the country. From the house the police also seized gadgets to tamper IMEI numbers, over ₹ 1 lakh cash, foreign currency and a car, total worth ₹ 56 lakh said officials.
According to the police, one of the accused suspected that the victim, Ramawtar Dhobi, was abducting a minor girl, following which he raised an alarm and attacked Dhobi.

Two leaders of the youth wing of the
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have been booked by the cyber-crime cell of the Pune police on Monday for allegedly morphing images of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi and
Yogi Adityanath and circulating it further on social media.
The police identified the two men as Mohasin Shaikh, state secretary of the NCP youth wing, and youth leader Shivajirao Javir.
Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) social-media cell co-coordinators Vineet Vajpayee, Rupesh Pawar and Gaurav Shetty filed the FIR under section 469 (forgery for the purpose of harming the reputation of any person or knowing that it is likely to be used for that purpose) and section 501 (printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) of the Indian Penal Code.
