Mangaluru: Four assault couple for questioning wayward driving - Case filed   Fri, Jan 01 2021 10:20:02 PM Mohan Kuthar Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP) Mangaluru, Jan 1: A couple who raised questions over wayward driving of their neighbours were assaulted mercilessly by the same people in their neighbourhood at Hoige, Ullal. Ullal Hoige residents Steven D’Souza (40) and wife Veena D’Souza(30) are the victims of the assault. Their neighbours Prakash D’Souza, Madhujeeven D’Souza, his wife Keerthi D’Souza and Chetan D’Souza have been accused of committing the crime. As per reports, the couple was returning home from the Thokottu Church when the accused were recklessly driving their car. Given the poor road conditions, reckless driving could have proven fatal to the lives of Steven and his wife. Fortunately, they narrowly escaped from meeting with an accident. Following this, Steven approached his neighbours to question their careless driving.
