The usage of the popular ‘Buga’ lyric by the Tertsea Kume-led Election Petition Tribunal which earlier ousted Ademola Adeleke as the elected governor of Osun state is unwarranted and condemnable, according to the Court of Appeal in Abuja. It, however, added that it doesn’t show that the judicial workers were biased in their judgment which favoured Gboyega Oyetola. A three-member panel of the appellate court led by Mohammed Shuaibu unanimously last Friday overturned the earlier decision of the election petition tribunal which nullified the governor’s victory in January.

Mr. Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, with his party, last week, filed a petition at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in Abuja, asking it to declare him as the rightful winner of the February 25 presidential poll.
Adeleke reacting to whether he is anxious, said, “No, not really. If they want to go to the Supreme Court, they have the right to do that. So, I have my people on my side.
