The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has increased the 2021 appropriation bill by 2.8billion naira making the initial 112.92billion naira presented by Gov. Abdullahi Sule now 115.7 billion naira.
The Speaker of the House, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi revealed the development of when the House deliberated and adopted the 2021 budget report of the House standing committee on Finance and Appropriation during proceedings in Lafia, Tuesday.
The speaker said the increase of the 2021 appropriation bill was due to the introduction of Engineering and Medical schools at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, insecurity among others.
He appreciated the house members for the deliberations and for adopting the reports of the committee for the overall development of the state.
