A house in Normandy Crescent, Oxford, which was subject to a 2020 planning application for a two-home extension. Picture: Google Maps PEOPLE from across England are apparently furious about plans to build two houses on the garden of an Oxford home which have now been approved. The plans for Normandy Crescent, Cowley, are billed as a large extension to the current house, but would create two new two-bedroom houses, plus an extension to the existing house, and new parking spaces. More than a hundred objections were lodged against the plans including that the new buildings would be overbearing and that there would not be enough room for all the new cars once residents had moved in.
