DHAKA, May 8, 2021 (BSS) – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed today asked the newly promoted superintendents of police (SPs) to perform their duties perfectly maintaining professionalism, morality and values high at their respective workplaces.
“Maintain professionalism, morality and values high in your workplace,” the IGP told the newly promoted officers to the post of SP at a function at the Police Headquarters here today.
Congratulating the promoted officers, the IGP said the promotion is not only for you, but also it’s a dignity and pleasure for the respective family members also.
“Your journey has just begun, you have to go a long way in the days to come,” he said, suggesting them for taking a massive preparation in this regard.

Electric devices have been banned during tomorrow s admission test for the MBBS courses at public and private medical colleges.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Mohammad Shafiqul Islam PPM came up with several directives centering the test at a coordination meeting with officials concerned of the medical test and law enforcement agencies held at DMP headquarters in Dhaka today.
Students were asked to be present before the examination centres by 8am and ordered to come wearing masks.
Thermal scanners will be installed at all entrance of exam halls, the DMP boss said, adding that disinfectant auto spray machines and hand sanitizers will be arranged in the exam halls.
